Kathy
began to play with clay in the summer of 1994 after falling in love
with a bead by Marie Segal at Beadworks in Cambridge, Mass. They
had "The New Clay" by Nan Roche for sale, and since she had earned an "A"
in Organic Chemistry, she treated herself. Kathy is a regular on the guild's
demo circuit and has been a guild member since 1999.
