For general information:
http://www.warnersprings.com/
Make sure you tell them you are booking for Sandy Camp.

For directions to WSR, click here.

Please contact Warner Springs Ranch to book your room at groups@warnersprings.com and mention Sandy Camp to them. This year Jenny Thompson will be in charge of room reservations.  If you need to call Jenny, her direct line is 760 782-4235. She is available Monday through Friday during the day. The costs for your sleeping rooms are $98.10/night (this includes $8.10 for tax) and this room can sleep three. If you want a fourth in your room, please let them know and they will have a rollaway bed for you to use. The cost of the room is split among the occupants in the room- not per person, as in other facilities. So it will cost  $32.70 per night if you have three in the room.  The rooms are great, have a small refrigerator and  fireplaces for that cozy feeling! If you want a specific person in the adjoining room, mention that when you register with WSR and they will try to accommodate you.

Dorm size fridges in most rooms will hold your cold drinks. You may choose to bring an ice chest for sandwiches and salad fixins. There is a small convenience store across from the ranch, but their selection is limited and they close around 5 pm, so prepare to bring cold foods.

**One change from previous years is that you will be required to pay for your full stay when you make your reservation at WSR this year and you will need to give WSR 14 days notice if you decide to cancel.  You WILL be charged for the number of nights you register for.  If you cancel more than 14 days before the deadline, they will still charge you for one night's stay. Your credit card will be charged 60 days before Sandy Camp, or around August 7th. Reservations must be made by Sept.1, 2006.  After that date WSR cannot guarantee that there will be a room available for you.

Except for the Family Feast, you are on your own for meals.  There is a very nice restaurant in the lodge (you need to make reservations) and also a coffee shop across the street at the golf course.  You may keep food in your room in the frig or a cooler, but absolutely no cooking in your room.. there is a $50 fine for doing so!!  There will be a microwave oven in the tent for everyone to use.  Warner Springs Ranch does not allow pets on site.  If they discover you have a pet with you,

you will be fined $50 and be asked to leave.

If you have a disability be aware that the terrain at Warner Springs can be challenging and you might want to take this into consideration before registering. We cannot guarantee assistance in getting around. If you have any questions feel free to email Ellie

NO MOTORIZED PASTA MACHINES MAY BE USED IN THE LARGE TENT.  You can use them outside or in your room.  If you use them in your room we request that you observe some motorized pasta machine etiquette: check with your neighbor and roommates to be sure it's okay (some folks may need an afternoon nap) and be considerate about the time of day you use it.  Remember that WSR expects quiet time after 10 p.m.

Anyone who arrives early should be advised that the staff will only honor requests if they go through either Ellie Hitchcock or Tina Goodrich, your Sandy Camp Co-Chairs. So, if something needs to be adjusted or changed in the tent area, if there's a problem, seek out one of the co-chairs.  This is a request from the Warner Springs Ranch staff.
